By using Tokii, you agree to the following terms.
1. Age Requirement
Tokii is intended for users aged 13 and older.
- Users must provide accurate age and birthdate information during signup.
- Age information cannot be modified after registration.
- Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use Tokii.
- Users under 18 are subject to additional safety, visibility, and messaging restrictions as described below.
1-A. Age-Based Discovery and Visibility
Tokii applies age-based discovery mechanisms to help create a safer environment, especially for younger users.
- Users under the age of 18 are only able to discover and appear to nearby users within a limited age range close to their own age.
- Users under 18 are not discoverable by, and cannot discover, users who are significantly older.
- In particular, users under 18 and users aged 20 or older are not shown to each other in nearby user lists.
- These age-based visibility rules are applied automatically and cannot be disabled by users.
The specific age ranges and discovery rules may be adjusted over time to improve safety and user protection.
2. Anonymous & Pseudonymous Use
Tokii allows users to interact using pseudonymous profiles without requiring real-world identity disclosure.
However:
- Users remain fully responsible for their behavior and content.
- Anonymity does not exempt users from compliance with these terms or applicable laws.
3. User-Generated Content
Tokii enables users to send messages and share content.
You agree not to create, upload, or share content that is:
- Offensive, abusive, threatening, or hateful
- Sexual, explicit, or inappropriate, especially involving minors
- Harassing, discriminatory, or intended to intimidate others
- Containing personal, private, or sensitive information (including contact details)
Tokii does not endorse user-generated content and is not responsible for content created by users.
4. Messaging & Safety Controls
- Users may only receive messages from permitted or approved connections.
- Users under 18 may receive messages only from users they have explicitly approved.
- Users can block or mute other users at any time using in-app controls.
These restrictions are designed to reduce unwanted contact and improve safety.
5. Moderation and Reporting
Tokii reserves the right to remove any content or account that violates our policies.
- Users can report content or users for review.
To report a message, simply tap and hold the message you received, then tap the Report option.
- If a user’s messages are reported multiple times, their account may be automatically suspended for a certain period based on prior offenses.
- All reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and content may be removed without prior notice if necessary.
6. Blocking and Removal
Tokii provides tools that allow users to control unwanted interactions and content.
- Users may block messages from other users at any time.
On a user’s profile detail screen, users can tap and hold the “More” (⋯) button located in the top-right corner to access blocking options.
The [Block Messages] option allows users to block messages from an unwanted user and prevents any further messages from that user.
The [Hide Profile Image] option allows users to hide another user’s profile image, which will be replaced with a default app image.
- Users may delete their own content at any time using in-app features.
To delete a message, simply tap and hold the message you sent, and tap the Delete option.
7. Privacy and Data Use
Tokii collects and processes limited personal data, including age-related information, solely for:
- Enforcing age-based safety features
- Applying discovery and messaging restrictions
- Maintaining platform integrity and security
Details about data collection and usage are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Liability and Termination
Users are solely responsible for their actions while using Tokii.
Tokii may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the App if:
- These terms are violated
- Required by law or safety considerations
Tokii is not liable for user behavior, interactions, or content shared within the App.
9. Changes to These Terms
Tokii may update these terms from time to time.
- Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
- The latest version will always be available on the Tokii website.
